



Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions
Programme means the Portfolio Development Programme (Textiles) that the student enrols in.
Projects means the number of 1 / 3 / 5 project blocks (each project block lasting 10 weeks).
Cohort Format means students work in a group with scheduled live tutorials & shared sessions.
Individual Format means 1:1 tutorials with a personal tutor and private check-ins.
Start Date means the date the student’s chosen project block(s) begins.
Student refers to the person enrolling in the PDP.
2. Eligibility & Application
By submitting the application form, the student confirms that all details provided are true. TDCA reserves the right to vet applications.
If a student is under 16, or has no prior creative/art/design study or experience, TDCA may recommend starting with the 7-Day Textiles Crash Course or another foundational course before enrolling.
Acceptance emails are issued once applications are reviewed, confirming programme format, number of projects, and start date.
3. Enrolment & Payment
Once the student receives an offer (acceptance email), payment must be made via the enrolment link to confirm their spot.
Payment options may include full payment or approved instalment/finance partners (e.g., Klarna, Clearpay) where applicable.
All fees shown include VAT where applicable.
All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
4. Programme Structure
The Programme is available in Cohort (group) or Individual (1:1) formats.
Students may select 1, 3, or 5 projects, each delivered in 10-week blocks with set start and end dates.
Cohort sessions follow a fixed timetable; Individual programmes are scheduled directly with TDCA.
5. Intellectual Property
All Programme content (tutorials, briefs, pre-recorded sessions, handouts, videos, and digital tools) is the intellectual property of TDCA.
Content may not be reproduced, shared, or resold by students.
Any breach of this clause may result in removal from the Programme and legal action.
6. Student Conduct
Students must treat faculty, peers, and staff with respect.
Disruptive behaviour or misuse of Programme resources may result in removal without refund.
Students are expected to engage actively with the material and submit work on time.
7. Attendance & Catch-Up
It is the student’s responsibility to attend scheduled sessions. If a session is missed, students must catch up independently using recordings and provided materials.
For Cohort-based programmes, live tutorials cannot be rescheduled. Missed sessions are non-transferable.
For Individual (1:1) programmes, rescheduling is permitted with at least 48 hours’ notice. A maximum of 1–2 reschedules per project is allowed.
Additional reschedules will be at the discretion of TDCA and the assigned lecturer.
Documented long-term health issues will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and reasonable adjustments may be made.
8. Technology & Access
Students are responsible for ensuring reliable internet access, updated software, and appropriate hardware.
TDCA cannot be held liable for missed sessions due to individual technical failures.
9. Wellbeing & Inclusivity
TDCA is committed to equity, inclusion, and accessibility.
Students should disclose any additional learning needs or accessibility requirements during onboarding so that reasonable adjustments can be considered.
10. Certification & Outcomes
The Programme is not an accredited degree. Students will receive a TDCA certificate of completion upon finishing their assigned projects.
TDCA makes no guarantees of admission into specific schools or employment outcomes.
11. Complaints & Disputes
Any concerns should first be raised with TDCA in writing at [email protected].
TDCA will review and respond within 14 days.
In the event of unresolved disputes, UK law applies and jurisdiction rests with the UK courts.
12. Updates to Terms
TDCA reserves the right to update these Terms when necessary.
Students will be notified of significant changes by email.
