Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern participation in the TDCA Mentoring Programme (5h and 10h packages). By purchasing a mentoring package, you (“Student”) agree to the following:

1. Programme Structure

• Each package includes either 5 hours or 10 hours of one-to-one mentoring with a TDCA mentor.

• Sessions are typically booked in 1-hour blocks, unless otherwise agreed.

• Sessions are delivered online via Zoom or equivalent platform.

2. Scheduling & Rescheduling

• Students schedule sessions via TDCA’s booking system (Calendar link provided).

• Rescheduling policy:

◦ For the 5h package, 1 reschedule is permitted.

◦ For the 10h package, 2 reschedules are permitted.

◦ Reschedules must be made with at least 48 hours’ notice.

• Illness or emergencies:

◦ If a student is suddenly unwell or faces an emergency, TDCA may, at its discretion,

allow the session to be rescheduled without penalty.

◦ Students must notify TDCA as soon as possible (ideally before the session start time).

• Late reschedules (within 48h without cause) and no-shows will result in the session being forfeited.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

• Once a mentoring package is purchased, it is non-refundable.

• In exceptional circumstances (e.g., long-term illness, relocation), TDCA may, at its discretion, allow unused hours to be deferred or transferred to another programme.

4. Student Responsibilities

• Students are expected to:

◦ Arrive on time for all sessions.

◦ Complete agreed tasks between sessions (outlined in the Diagnostic Plan).

◦ Communicate openly with their mentor and TDCA staff about challenges, needs, or changes in focus.

5. Mentor Responsibilities

• TDCA mentors will:◦ Provide tailored guidance based on student goals (portfolio, project, job

preparation).

◦ Deliver a Diagnostic Plan after the first session, setting out strengths, areas for development, and a session roadmap.

◦ Offer constructive feedback, resources, and professional insight.

6. Confidentiality & Intellectual Property

• All mentoring sessions are confidential.

• Any work shared by the student remains the student’s intellectual property.

• Mentors may not use, reproduce, or share student work without written consent.

• Students may not record sessions without prior consent from both TDCA and the mentor.

7. Liability

• TDCA provides mentoring as guidance and support, not as a guarantee of academic acceptance, employment, or commercial success.

• Students remain responsible for their own outcomes, applications, and creative work.

8. Communication

• All official communication will be via email and the TDCA platform.

• Students are encouraged to follow TDCA’s newsletter and social media channels to stay informed of opportunities and resources.

9. Expiry of Hours

• All mentoring hours must be used within 6 months of purchase.

• Any unused hours after this period will expire and cannot be refunded or transferred.

10. Agreement

By purchasing a mentoring package, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
